Steps to get the perfect facial skin

How to get perfect natural skin? Now I'm going to give you the keys to achieve this goal:

Wash your face with warm water:

Washing your face with warm water reduces the swelling in the eye area which can be caused by not getting enough rest. It also reduces redness, activates blood circulation, and you will get better color in your skin. It is ideal to use cold water when you have acne or a pimple because it reduces inflammation and reduces healing time.

Wash your face at night

According to dermatologists, this is the best beauty treatment available. By washing before sleeping, the skin pores rest for at least 8 hours from the impurities and pollution that penetrate during the day.

You should wash your face every night before sleeping even if you don't wear makeup. I recommend using warm water since cold water can dry out the skin. However, you can do the last wash with cold water to close the pores.

  • The soap you use should be neutral, with the same pH as your skin (close to 5.5), but if your skin is oily, it may be lower.
  • Also, try not to touch your face as it can be harmful in cases of acne. It would be best to take special care in the zone around the eyes and particularly the eyelids because the skin is more sensitive.
  • To dry your face, don't rub firmly with a towel, but instead caress your face.
  • If you apply a cream, wait at least 15 minutes because the skin can be irritated if you do it too soon.

Remove your makeup before sleeping.

It is essential to remove makeup before going to sleep. At night, facial cells regenerate, and if makeup is still on, then a protective barrier is created that prevents normal tissue regeneration. It can also cause pores to become clogged, making acne more likely.

By sleeping frequently without removing makeup, the skin will become dehydrated and flaccid. When we don't remove makeup properly, the skin loses its luminosity due to a lack of nutrition and hydration.

Tone up your face

The facial toner’s primary function is to balance the skin's pH that becomes unbalanced after removing makeup. It also removes any remaining makeup and prepares the skin for subsequent care.

It is best to use toner twice a day after washing your face in the morning and after removing makeup at night. You should soak an absorbent cotton disc and place it on your face with circular movements on your neck and neckline.

Moisturize your skin

Use a moisturizer on your face twice a day, in the morning and at night before going to bed. This will help you obtain luminous skin, reduces wrinkles, provides firmness, and looks healthy. The moisturizing cream will help create healthier skin that can withstand external agents' attacks, stress, and the passage of time.

Use eye contour cream daily.

The skin around the eyes is the thinnest and most delicate on the face, so it needs special care. Applying eye contour every day will help keep a youthful look. Apply this cream by giving soft and quick touches with the fingertips so that the product is better absorbed.

Protect your skin from the sun

Always use sunscreen throughout the year, as prolonged exposure to UV rays causes black spots, dehydration, and uneven skin tone. To avoid the appearance of black spots and wrinkles, use creams containing high SPF after applying moisturizer.

Use exfoliant

When skin renewal is delayed, it begins to look dry and poorly oxygenated, withered, dull and aged. Therefore, it is essential to complement the cleaning and moisturizing of the face to help the natural process of skin regeneration with an exfoliating product. It is best to renew the dead cells with exfoliation, so the skin is ready to absorb the nutrients and active ingredients of the moisturizing and rejuvenating products you apply to your face.

Take care of dark circles.

If you have dark circles under your eyes after a bad night’s sleep, you can use the following trick to activate the blood circulation around your eyes. The trick is to put a very cold metal spoon over the affected area.

Start using serum

As a result of continuous exposure to ultraviolet rays, the skin becomes stained or hyperpigmented. If you need to correct this problem, you can use a special serum to solve this hyperpigmentation and help the skin recover its natural glow.

Wear masks once a week

Use masks once a week. They will help you moisturize your skin, moderating water levels during the night.

Do not pick at or pop pimples.

You should not touch pimples because this can cause inflammation and unwanted scarring of your facial skin.

Drink plenty of water

During the day, the skin loses water. To replace it, you need to drink 2 liters of water daily. As a result, your face will have a fresher and smoother appearance.

Take care of your diet

Consume foods rich in antioxidants to combat inflammation and premature aging. The best antioxidants are:

  • Cocoa
  • Red fruits
  • Spinach
  • Purple grapes
  • Green and white tea
  • Maqui
  • Goji berries

Don't always eat the same foods because you will lack essential nutrients. Vary your diet with different fruits and vegetables. Avoid processed foods that contain many preservatives and chemicals.

It is also important to limit sugar intake because it damages the skin’s collagen and elastin, which will cause wrinkles. Sugar in this instance refers to white powder and white flour, fruit juices, soft drinks, honey, and those containing high fructose corn syrup.

Exercise

When exercising, our skin's blood flow increases so that our facial skin receives essential nutrients and vitamins.

Mistakes you shouldn't make to get perfect skin.

Mistakes you don't have a perfect skin

Cleaning the skin excessively

If you have performed an overnight cleaning, your face does not need soap in the morning; instead, clean it with water or floral water. We recommend using a mild soap, a tonic at night, and a moisturizing treatment in the morning. If you wash the face's skin excessively, it can cause dryness, cracking, eczema, and accentuate the signs of aging.

Do not rinse off the micellar water.

Micellar water makeup remover cleans impurities and makeup residue from the skin. However, if you forget to remove it with water, your facial skin's pH will suffer damage.

Do not take care of the eye contour area.

This is a very delicate area that suffers from makeup, glasses, or eyebrow waxing. All these factors weaken the eye contour.

Using exfoliants excessively

By exfoliating more than once a week, you eliminate the skin's protective barrier, allowing dirt, bacteria, and the appearance of premature wrinkles to enter.

Touching your pimples

It is a common mistake to touch pimples or extract the pus inside them. This causes blemishes and infections due to the micro bacteria found on the hands. Choose specific products to eliminate pimples and help reduce blackheads.

Not using sunscreen.

When you don't apply sunscreen to your face, you are not helping to protect against skin cancer, premature aging, and sunspots. You should use sunscreens in the summer as well as the rest of the year.

Smoking

Smoking causes skin spots, excess toxins in the body, and premature aging. Tobacco smoke dries your skin and, at the same time, constricts the blood vessels, depriving the skin of essential nutrients by not allowing the necessary amount of blood to reach it. After quitting smoking, your face will look more radiant.

Home remedies for perfect skin

Here are some home remedies that will make your facial skin look free of impurities and imperfections:

Exfoliating masks

With exfoliation, you eliminate impurities and dead cells from your face, reduce imperfections and marks, and improve your skin.

Sugar mask

  1. Cleanse the skin well and then moisten it.
  2. Take one tablespoon of fine-grained sugar and rub a little into your hands.
  3. Apply it to the face with circular and upward movements.

Carrot mask

  1. For this mask, peel a carrot, cut it into pieces and blend it until you get a homogeneous paste.
  2. Mix it with some moisturizer.
  3. Place it on your face and let it rest for 15 minutes.

With this mask, you will obtain fresh-looking facial skin with more vitality.

Cucumber and yogurt rehydrating mask

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cucumber.
  • One tablespoon of natural yogurt.

Preparation:

  1. Blend both ingredients until you get a homogeneous paste.
  2. Spread this mixture over the face, leaving it to work for 20 minutes.
  3. Rinse with cold water to close the pores.
  4. Use this moisturizer once a week to avoid dryness and tightness.

Anti-itch mask

Sensitivity is often caused by using a lot of products that can be harmful to the face. Prepare this anti-itching mask to nourish your skin.

Ingredients:

  • Three tablespoons of yogurt.
  • Three spoonfuls of oats.

Preparation:

  1. Mix the ingredients very well until you obtain a homogeneous paste.
  2. Apply it with a circular motion on the face, leaving it to act for at least 15 minutes.

Nourishing mask

By making this nourishing mask, the facial skin will replenish the nutrients that the skin has lost and will now appear smooth, uniform, and radiant.

Ingredients:

  • One beaten egg yolk.
  • 1 spoonful of honey.
  • 1 spoonful of olive oil.

Preparation:

  1. Mix the ingredients until obtaining a homogeneous paste.
  2. Apply it on the face for 20 minutes.
  3. Rinse with warm water.
  4. Repeat this routine twice a week.

Mask to illuminate the face

By exposing the skin to atmospheric factors such as aggressive products and temperature changes, the facial skin loses radiance and looks dehydrated. If you need to regenerate and illuminate the skin, the best vitamin is vitamin C. Also, you get benefits against aging.

Ingredients:

  • Orange juice.
  • Two spoonfuls of honey.

Preparation:

  1. Stir the ingredients and spread this mixture all over the face.
  2. Let it work for 10 minutes and then remove it with warm water.

Masks to lighten the skin

Onion:

  1. Prepare a juice of red onion in a blender.
  2. Apply the liquid with a cotton ball soaked in the juice on your face.
  3. Leave it on for 10 minutes and rinse with cold water.

Lemon juice

Lemon juice contains lightening properties due to its high content of Vitamin C, and its citric acid helps cell renewal. Rub a slice of lemon directly onto your face or soak a cotton ball in lemon juice and apply. Do not expose yourself to the sun with the lemon on your face because it can produce more spots.

Facial exercises to maintain a perfect face

This factor is something that surprised me. What are facial exercises? Well, I wasn't sure about using them, but I tried them and incorporated them into my life.

Facial exercises are a natural therapy that helps to maintain firmness in the skin of the face. They consist of doing some specific exercises for every muscle in the face. These movements stimulate the face's tissues and work out each fiber of the skin, contributing to overall improvement.

Through facial gymnastics, we tone the face through movement. It also activates blood circulation, reduces expression lines, and provides elasticity and firmness. The key to properly working out the forehead, cheek, and chin is the repetition of a specific movement.

Rectangle with the hands

This exercise consists of forming a rectangle with the index finger and thumb:

  1. First, place these fingers on the right and left side of the face, between cheekbone and eyebrow.
  2. Open your eyes as much as you can and stay like that for at least 3 seconds.
  3. Close them, and with the tip of your index finger touch your forehead and relax it.
  4. Repeat this step about 4 or 5 times.

By performing this exercise regularly, you will strengthen the muscles in the forehead, and therefore, reduce the lines of expression in this area.

Inverted triangle

  • Form an inverted triangle with your hands, from the center of your face to the sides.
  • Look up for 10 seconds.
  • Turn your eyes to the center.
  • Lightly touch the sides of your face with the tip of your index finger, repeating five times.

Exercise with your lips

  1. Place yourself in front of the mirror and look at it, make different grimaces, movements, and winks to tone up all the face areas.
  2. Open your mouth as wide as you can and point your lips in different directions.

With this exercise, you work on the adjacent area of the mouth that is the most sensitive on the face, where expression lines appear. Another way to perform this type of exercise is to place your fingers in the corner of your lips, placing slight pressure and trying to give it the shape of the letter O with your mouth.

Blow

By practicing this exercise, you will work the cheeks and cheekbones to do it properly:

  1. 1. Close your mouth and blow as hard as you can.
  2. 2. Make your cheeks hold the air, then let it out little by little.
  3. 3. Repeat 4 to 5 times, resting 2 minutes between each repetition.

With your thumbs

At the corner of the eyes, flatten them with both thumbs and blink for 10 seconds. This will work out the forehead and eye area.

Smile

  1. Press your chin with your index finger and smile.
  2. Then put your lips as if you were going to kiss for 10 seconds.
  3. Return to the initial position and repeat this exercise for 5 minutes.

Chin Exercise

Our age is more noticeable in the neck, and we must exercise it with the face. To do so, raise your chin, stretching the lower lip upwards in conjunction with your neck.

Do this exercise 2 or 3 times a week to tone up your face. The ideal time is at night before sleeping or in the morning after showering.

I also recommend applying a good moisturizer before the exercises to reduce the feeling of tightness. You can use almond oil instead of cream so you can perform the face movements better and, at the same time, moisturize the skin deeply.

Conclusion

Maintain a daily routine of exercise, cleansing, moisturizing, and toning your face to maintain perfect facial skin, following all the recommendations we have given you, and you will look smooth and glowing.
